7th Grade Band

Our 7th grade band meets in two separate hours. The class is separated into a woodwind/percussion class and a brass class. Both classes are directed by Ms. Barnes. Students continue to work on the basic fundamentals of instrumental music. There are more performance and competition opportunities for this group compared to the beginning band. These bands perform at three concerts, two contests, have the opportunity to audition for the NCDA honor band, and can compete with a solo in the OSSAA District Competition.
